WATCH: Foreigner Records A Video To Stop MMDA Traffic Enforcers From Extorting Money

David Kilpatrick is tired of paying P500 for a violation he has not committed, so he decided to record a feature with traffic enforcers so they won't ask cash from him.

In the video he shared on Facebook, he described how he is always flagged down by the traffic enforcers even when he uses the middle lane at all times.

Because he knows the traffic laws in the area, he always uses the middle lane, but the traffic enforcers requests that he stop and pay P500 on the grounds that he supposedly utilized the left lane.

No matter how many times he tried to explain that he was using the middle lane, not the left, the traffic  enforcers would insist he was using the wrong lane.  They would always extort P500 from him.

In the video, it was clear that he was staying on the middle lane.  Just as he predicted, the traffic enforcers flagged him down and told him he violated traffic rules by trying to drive straight when those on the left lane always need to take a left turn.

he told the traffic enforcer he knew that and he was at the middle lane.  The enforcer laughed and called his companion.  Just as they were trying to insist he was on the wrong lane, he began to tell them he was videotaping the encounter.

Quickly, the tone changed.

The traffic enforcers said they were all cool and he committed no violation.  Straight-faced, they acted innocent while Kilpatrick and his companion told the enforcers how he was always asked to pay P500 for a violation he never committed.

Want to watch me get pissed? You can't go straight from the left lane. I know this. That's why I stay in the middle lane... Yet they always stop me and ask for money!!! Not today, boys!
