Filipino fighter Eden Sonsona pulled off a major upset when he knocked out undefeated Mexican Adrian Estrella in a super featherweight showdown in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

In the second round, Sonsona landed a wild left to the head of Adrian, then followed it up with an enormous right hook that landed flush on his chin.

Estrella collapsed to the mat, tried to get up, but fell to his knees again and the referee waved off the fight.

Sonsona improved his record to 34 wins against six losses and two draws and claim the vacant WBC international silver super featherweight title.

Estrella's record now has a loss 21-1, with 20 wins by knockout.

Sonsona was a major underdog against the bigger Estrella. According to Boxing Scene, reported Estrella was tabbed to be a 40-1 favorite.
