Fast And Furious 8 Taping Request In EDSA, Rejected By MMDA

The Fast and Furious 7 movie was a big hit in theaters last April 2015. Vin Diesel, Hollywood actor, has truly fallen in love with the Philippines and wanted to shoot the next “Fast And The Furious” in the Philippines. 



He wanted a couple of scenes to be taped in EDSA so he filed a request last May to MMDA board.

Unfortunately, MMDA published a statement on their Facebook page that they rejected Vin Diesel's request. 
"The heavy traffic in the area would have been tripled if we closed the lanes that Vin Diesel requested for the taping," said the press release.

The  Fast & Furious 8 crew are still looking to possibly film in Southeast Asia.
